What Are Human Rights?
Human Rights constitute a comprehensive framework of fundamental rights that belong to every individual, regardless of race, nationality, gender, belief, or identity. These essential rights begin with the right to life and extend to a wide range of other core entitlements, including the right to education, freedom of expression, personal security, and the right to live with dignity. For this reason, the concept of human rights continually reminds the global community of a vital principle: no person should ever become a victim of discrimination, violence, or abuse of power.
